- Security cookie from Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set a short-lived cookie (such as
__cf_bm) to tell people apart from malicious bots. It contains no personal profile and is strictly necessary.
Stored in your browser
Two small settings are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us: your light or dark theme choice, and the fact that you closed the cookie notice. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Fonts
All typefaces are hosted on our own server. Your browser does not contact Google or any other font service.
Links to other sites
Most stories are written by other publishers. Before you leave, we show the full address you are being sent to. Their own privacy policies apply once you are on their site.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, and page requested) for security and troubleshooting. They are not used to build profiles or shared with anyone.
